IND vs SRI LANKA : India win by 39 runs in one-off t20


Team India After a thumping 4-1 win in the ODI series,completed their limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka with a thumping 39-run win in the one-off T20 at Pallekele on Tuesday.

Needing 156 to win, the Sri Lankans were never in the chase after losing two wickets early. They were eventually bowled out for 116 in the 18th over. Angelo Mathews top-scored with 31 for the hosts as Irfan Pathan and Ashok Dinda returned with 3 for 27 and 4 for 19 respectively,
Earlier,Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene has won the toss and sent India in to bat.
The batsman, who is in best of his form, came to bat after early dismissal of opener Gautam Gambir in the second over. 
Kohli then rescued the side from the early blow and shared 71-run stand for the second wicket with Ajinke Rahane who made 21.

Raina remained unbeaten on 34 off 25 balls. 
Sri Lanka have brought in right arm seamer Shaminda Eranga for the one-off and replaced Sachitra Senanayake with Rangana Herath. 

For India, Virender Sehwag made way for Ajinkya Rahane while Umesh Yadav has been drafted into the playing XI in place of an injured Zaheer Khan.
