Kohli Extra Cautious On Siddle"s Pace

India middle-order batsman Virat Kohli feels Victorian bowler, Peter Siddle is his biggest challenge in the ongoing Test series against Australia.

Siddle has dismissed Kohli thrice in six innings.
Kohli, who scored highest at Perth with 44 in the first and 75 in the second innings was disappointed on missing out on a century at Perth.

"I could not imagine that three wickets (Vinay Kumar, Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma) fell in the space of five balls. I thought I could easily get to the three-figure mark with the tailenders, but unfortunately I couldn't," Kohli was quoted as saying by 'Mid-Day'.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to play four quicks on a pacey and bouncy track of WACA, Perth. R Ashwin who batted well in the first two tests was dropped to include pacer Vinay Kumar.

Speaking about Aussies bowling attack, Kohli said pacer Peter
Siddle is the fastest bowler and finds it difficult to play him. "All the Aussies bowlers are bowling accurately -- a fantastic line and not offering any width. I am handling Ryan (Harris) well, but I am finding it difficult to play Siddle. He is the fastest among them. I am always extra cautious while facing Siddle's deliveries," said Kohli after a net session at the Adelaide Oval yesterday.

"Yes, bounce is a problem here hence I am trying to play straight. You have to use horizontal bat shots like the cut and pull, but I am trying to play much straighter," he added.

Meanwhile, Kohli who is playing his first international series in Australia said, "It is a great challenge to have a success in Australia. I am trying to learn with every passing day. This is a great educational tour for me," he said.
